Channellock 440 Straight Jaw Pliers, August 12, 2011
I work in a glass manufacturing plant. I keep a pair of 440 in my back pocket at work everyday. I use them to make adjustments, pry, twist, & handle hot glass tubing. They work as well as the day I bought them. Very versatile! The possibilities are endless!

good stuff, August 22, 2010
I carry 2 different sizes of these in my tool bag and they are fantastic, tough, well made tools.I use them everyday to grab, pound, pry, and twist with and they never bend or get dull. The one set is a hand me down from 1974 and works like new.

Channellock 440, June 29, 2010
I have a pair of 440 that have us and canada pat numbers and stamped 1953.I have six sets from 420-440 they are all stamped the same way. They are the best channellocks I have ever owned I use them all the time for everthing from working on mowers to working on anything I need these channellocks are in good shape for being made in 1965 and i really take care of them. I have newer sets of channellocks as well and they all work perfect.
