What happens when an exclusive collection of quality hand tools and a prize package tailor-made for fans of the country’s most-watched sport are paired together? Today, CHANNELLOCK® declared Dave. Z. from Frankenmuth, Mich., as the winner of the CHANNELLOCK® Gridiron Garage Giveaway sweepstakes, awarding him $5,000 worth of prizes meant to transform his garage into any football fan’s dream hangout.
Kicking off at the start of the professional football season, the Gridiron Garage Giveaway ran from Sept. 8 to Jan. 15. CHANNELLOCK® offered sweepstakes entrants a winner-take-all chance to receive a tool and game day prize package. During that time, the sweepstakes generated 580,522 entries.
“The Gridiron Garage Giveaway was about bringing together two of our fans’ greatest loves – CHANNELLOCK® tools and football – to be enjoyed in the same space,” said Ryan DeArment, vice president of sales and marketing at Channellock, Inc. “It’s evident, based on the overwhelming response that the sweepstakes received, that our fans agreed with this match-up. We offer our congratulations to Dave, and we’re eager to see how he incorporates everything into his garage.”
The prize package featured approximately 75 items that totaled more than $5,000 in value. The package included:
- More than $2,000 worth of CHANNELLOCK® tools;
- Two CHANNELLOCK® tool chests;
- A CHANNELLOCK®-customized gas grill and accessories;
- $500 worth of Omaha Steaks;
- A 26” LED HD TV;
- A CHANNELLOCK®-customized mini-fridge, and;
- Four CHANNELLOCK®-customized folding chairs.
“At first it was pretty hard to believe I won, but as the prizes arrived, I was elated,” said Dave. “I make my living as a handyman and painter, so the tools will definitely be put to good use, and my family is already looking forward to steak dinners!
