I restore old cars, trucks and tractors as a hobby and also to make a few extra bucks. It seems like every time I had to do electrical work, my stripper/crimper was bent and wouldn't work right. I finally figured out that it was because I was always using the Chinese ones that come in the terminal sets from the auto parts store. Those are only good for a few terminals, after that, they're all out of whack! The handles aren't comfortable either.
I picked up a pair of these a few weeks ago at a home improvement store while with a friend for his project and I absolutely can't believe that I didn't buy them years ago! ALL of my other non-locking (a.k.a. vice-grip) pliers are Channellock, so why was I messing around with foreign trash for my crimper?
I've used them a lot since my purchase. Lesson learned!
